This safety discrete input module is part of the Modicon X80 range, an offer of common input/output and communication modules, power supplies and racks for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This safety product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +60°C/-13°F to 140°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. It features 16 Type 3 inputs, in two groups of 8 non-isolated inputs. This product is IP20 rated and offers 382097 hours of MTBF. This discrete module has a weight of 0.120kg and dimensions of 32x131x86mm. The I/O module height is larger than the height of a rack (Ethernet or X-bus) and should be considered before installing the rack. The product must be installed on the rack and fixed with 2 screws.
