This standalone processor is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This product offers a maximum of 8 local rack and 31 remote rack configuration with up to 37888 discrete I/O channels and 9472 analog I/O channels. Thanks to a protective coating on its circuit board, this product can be used in harsh environments with a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C/-13°F to 140°F. This controller can help hybrid manufacturers to achieve better, measurable, earlier ROI and Up to 100% returns on their project investments in less than three months. It is equipped with 1 Ethernet port for service, 2 Ethernet ports for ring remote I/O network (Remote IO racks only) and 1 USB type mini B for programming console. It has an integrated RAM of 64MB for program, 10kb for system memory and expandable flash of 4GB for data storage. This product is IP20 rated and offers 763033 hours of MTBF. The new grey design is applied for this module with a weight of 0.849kg and its new dimensions 64x130x135mm. This module meets the needs of applications in Transportation, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Power generation, Energies and Chemicals, and Data centers. This product complies with CE, UL, CSA, RCM, EAC, UKCA, and ATEX/IECEx zone 2/22 standards and is certified for Power Generation, Merchant Navy, Railway and Hazardous areas applications.
