This standalone Safety processor is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This product offers a maximum of 8 local rack and 16 remote rack configuration with up to 20480 discrete I/O channels and 5120 analog I/O channels. This Safety product is coated and is compatible with a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C/-13°F to 140°F. This controller can help hybrid manufacturers to achieve better, measurable, earlier ROI and Up to 100% returns on their project investments in less than three months. It is equipped with 1 Ethernet port for service, 2 Ethernet ports for ring remote I/O network (Remote IO racks only) and 1 USB type mini B for programming console. It has an integrated RAM of 16MB for program, 2048kb for data, 10kb for system memory, expandable flash of 4GB fo=r data storage and 4MB for program Safety and 1024kb for data Safety.
