In contrast to BRX resolvers, BRT resolvers must be fed with two sinusoidal signals offset by 90° to each other. A single sinusoidal signal of constant amplitude is returned whose phase relationship changes with the angular position of the resolver. Evaluation of BRT resolvers with 8AC122.60-3 is possible in principle starting with firmware V2.040; resolution and accuracy are limited due to the inverse operation of the resolver, however. In addition, the nominal transformation ratio deviates from the default value of 0.5 and must be configured accordingly.">
