Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismating

The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection against mismating is the pluggable solution for your application in control cabinets, on PCBs or for lighting connections. WAGO pluggable installation connectors are useful when requirements repeat or are distributed on a specific grid, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). Controlled lighting, as implemented with the DALI standard, for example, is the primary domain of use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates precise electrification. Due to the built-in test slot, it is possible to check connections even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and expense. Anyone who needs to worry about technical safety requirements for fire protection reasons for electrical installation should use only top quality components. Our product satisfies the strict safety standards of fire class B2. Eliminating halogens as an additive in the production of this cable assembly significantly improves fire safety and reduces environmental pollution.

Pluggable connections instead of screw connections – cable assemblies from WAGO

The cable is pre-assembled with a socket and a plug. The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System allows pluggable electrical installation. This saves time, lowers costs, and reduces the need for servicing. Now you can also lower installation costs without compromising safety and quality: with protection against mismating reduces the need for servicing and prevents unnecessary downtime.

effective protection against mismating

for automation controllers

for intelligent, easy lighting installation

flexible installation to save space

convenient installation and commissioning
