What is the Wago 758-918?

The Wireless ETHERNET Gateway simplifies the creation of a wireless transmission link for ETHERNET protocols (e.g., PROFINET, Modbus/TCP, EtherNet/IP).

This gateway is used as a cable substitute to create a robust, industry-proven Bluetooth® or WLAN link between two automation devices.

The gateways support various configurations and can therefore also be operated as an access point.

Both IP65 housing and internal directional antenna allow the gateway to be used in harsh industrial environments. Simple push-button operation rapidly connects two Wireless ETHERNET Gateways.

Additional settings can be made via Web-Based Management.

Note:

Two Wireless ETHERNET Gateways of the same type are required to establish a peer-to-peer connection.
