The modules convert physical input signals from sensors into network variables and the network variables into physical output signals for operating actuators. The diverse mix of inputs and outputs that are flexibly configurable using Honeywell's LonMaker® for Windows™ plug-in makes Excel Smart I/O modules ideally suited for a wide range of intelligent, distributed applications.
