There can be up to 2Km Fibre Optic cable distance between panel and node The card must be plugged into the backplane of the panel or node in a dedicated slot. The fibre optic cables connect directly to sockets on the card. There are two builds of the fibre network cards for secure EN54 and BS Vigilon networks
