The Ei170RF is an Alarm Kit for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. It is designed to give a visual and physical warning in the event of the Alarm system being triggered. The Ei170RF consists of a control box with integral strobe and a plug-in vibration pad. It is designed to be powered from a permanent mains supply and is supplied with a 13A 3-pin plug. It also contains a rechargeable lead acid battery that provides back-up power in the event of a mains failure. The Ei170RF has a built-in high intensity Xenon strobe with a specially designed lens that provides wide-angle light output. An integral ‘Test’ button on the front of the unit allows an easy means of testing the strobe, vibration pad and the Alarms in the system.

The vibration pad has a simple plug-in connector and is designed to be placed under a pillow to wake people who fail to respond to a visual strobe. The Ei170RF uses advanced transceiver and signal coding technology to ensure robust and reliable RF signaling. It also has a House Code feature that allows a system of Alarms and Devices to be coded together to prevent interference with neighboring systems. The Ei170RF has clear LED’s for Power, RadioLINK transmission, Fault and Alarm. There is also an auxiliary 3.5mm mono jack plug socket on top of the unit for connecting an alarm clock (5 to 24V AC or DC output). Features & Benefits:
