For use in certain production technologies, the robot can be equipped with an energy supply system between the base frame and the link arm. An energy supply system consists of a dress package for transmitting the energy, fluids and signals typical of the technological process concerned, and the “fastening materials” assembly required for attaching it to the robot. The energy supply system A1 - A2 is installed between the interface on the base frame and interface A2 on the link arm. The dress package contains the individual supply lines (e.g. water, air, signals) and the flexible tube. In the case of an “energy supply system without supply lines”, an empty flexible tube with a blank for a clamping piece and a cable star is supplied.
